The Monpellion Society's First Meeting

The montpellion society has only ever once actually released a single statement stating its principles. This is what they agreed to research. One, the analysis and explanation of the present crisis so as to reflect its essential moral and economic origins. Two, the re definition of the state's functions so as to distinguish more clearly between the totalitarian and liberal order. Three, methods of re establishing the rule of law and assuring its development. Four, the possibility of abolishing minimum standards by means not inimical to initiative and the functioning of the market. Five, methods of combating the misuse of history for the furtherance of creeds hostile to liberty.
