The Attraction of Software and Finance

Peter Teal called this something like a tech curse. That there's essentially this attraction towards these areas that he had many others, you know, across the political spectrum view is maybe less productive. We have all these high talented people going into tech and finance instead of hardware manufacturing or something like that hardware engineering. Is that good? And if it's not good then how do we avoid it finance yes software now.
