President Biden's launch of his new re-election campaign happened this week. I think that the administration has got a lot that it can run on, and frankly its opposition is in very substantial disarray. The head of the Bank of Japan surprised some people by putting off ultimate decisions about yield curve control. Any kind of peg, whether it's an exchange rate or an interest rate, is a hotel that's much easier to check into than to check out of. And finally, we don't talk about Fed security very much. This week we had this remarkable incident where apparently some people who were apparently Russian purported to be President Zelensky of Ukraine.
