The Death Knell of Good Journalism
The forgotten attack killed 59 on the plane and 125 military and civilian personnel inside the building. Ground crews had only found out 10 minutes earlier that flight 77 had been hijacked. The FAA grounded all flights which took two hours to get all of these flights in the ground. This combined with the heat of an office fire is notoriously the hottest of all building fires because it's paper.
