How Do You Manage Multiple Relationships in Taxonomies?

There's a misnomer that you can only have a one-to-one relationship with data in taxonomy. Attributes are descriptors and properties can be interchangeable. You might have mid-century modern style or course style within the skill space where I currently work. It also powers the front end of a customer facing site, but it also powers the inside of an organization so people can find things. Data scientists want to be able to wrap their arms around every single problem in an organization including taxonomy.
