Shared Parental Leave in the UK
Sweden has a gender-neutral scheme of parental leave. For just over a year, it's paid 80% of salary with an upper cap. 90 days is ring-fenced for either the mum or the dad and is non-transferrable. The Swedish system is financially far more generous than in the UK. As a result, take up by dads is high.
