The Mystery of the Sacraments
Marmian brings freshness because he goes back to the fathers. He incorporates this scholastic movement and all of it in his entire work on the kind of sacramental side of the Catholic life is called Christ in his mysteries. So you're seeing him kind of pull those Eastern Church fathers in and their emphasis on the sacraments as mystery. And I think he does a beautiful job of reclaiming the fact that our faith is mysterious and there's nothing to fear about that.
