The Value of Illusionism
I think it's important that we develop research programs a bit further than simply stating positions and discussing philosophical arguments. One of the value of illusionism in my mind, which I did not stress that much, is its fertility. For example, when it comes to solving the illusion problem, you don't need to be in the vision is to want to explain why we say what we say about consciousness. And so I'm only in for exploring research programs, which might sometimes require some degree of isolation between different research questions.
