The Argument for Naturalism

Many people think that Elizabeth Anscombe when she gave her talk before the Oxford Socratic Club in 1948 defeated Lewis. Many people believe that Lewis left the discussion feeling defeated and wiped out, but he actually went back and changed his argument from irrational to non-rational. In that sense then, the belief in naturalism which entails that your beliefs were produced by non rational causes is self defeating or self refuting.
