The Universe Is Following the Same Basic Laws the Whole Time
When atoms are served close enough to each other, certain forces become more dominant. But if you sort of exceed some sort of energy level, then other forces are more important. The universe is following the same basic laws the whole time and we notice these patterns. It's really complicated for the same reason that you can't predict hurricanes even if you understand how drops work. chaos prevents you from extrapolating from the very small scale to the very high scale.
