The Conflicting Thoughts About My Mum
We did have someone come over from England to see us. She said, do you know your mum is alive? Really? And we were like, well no, dad said she's dead. But even after that we didn't know whether to believe it or not because Dad's told us something different. I remember most nights looking up to the moon and stars and thinking, I wonder if my mum's up there. If she was alive, everything would have been better. I wouldn't be stuck here still.
