Is There a Moral System in Atheism?
Not all atheists have a moral argument, and they have different roots for where morality comes from. Atheism does not have in it a moral system. What it says is that there's no separate, supernatural lawgiver. So we can live in a moral system in which it's not provided by a deity. Or we can just ignore it. Nto alle their constructions, we make them up socially. We abide by em here,. Here, we don't abide by em there. They're socialy. They're not universal oders. The author argues about the liberal project to create these universal laws.
