Is It Necessary to Send People to the Moon?

Humanity has always been a migratory species. We have always been explorers. So is it necessary to send people to other places? No, but it's going to happen. If we don't do it, somebody else will do it, and wi'll be left behind. Why did the space race happen? Because the americans, an and the soviets wanted to be the first. And of course, they te the thete's also the thought that humanity should have multiple homes os, not just our planet.
