I think it modeled it for other people is what I've seen. And a lot of people specifically stories with their parents, that they maybe had never told anybody before. But yeah, my feeling about writing in general is that the whole point of it is to express the stuff that is not so easy to express in the chatter of everyday life. There's something about these media that gives us a space to to express what's real and deeper and true.
