"I loved about this that I think writers can take away is that if you look at most status stories, they are not that commercially successful," he says. "Once you wrap it in the romcom, you're playing it a whole other level of success when you're looking at romantic colonies versus super serious status stories,. Or society stories." He adds: "If you're writing something important, why wouldn't you try to get it out to as many people as possible?"
