Investigators failed to collect and analyze any of the bloody footprints in the kitchen. The fingerprints on the glass door that had been used by the killer to enter and exit the apartment were also missing. Prosecutors testified that Kevin had murdered Nona in a jealous rage. But the jury could not ignore all of the missed evidence.
