The Lindbergh Kidnapping
Charles Augustus Lindbergh Jr. was born on February 4th, 1902 in Detroit, Michigan to his father, Charles, senior who had immigrated from Sweden to Melrose, Minnesota when he was a baby. Now his parents separated in 1909 when Lindbergh was about seven years old. His father was a congressman as well from 1907 to 1917 and was one of the few to oppose the entry of the United States into World War I. So now that we have this super long intro, we're going to go ahead and get into the Lindbergh kidnapping.
