The Problem With the Book Ends Argument
Zachariah's martyrdom is recorded in the first book of the Bible. Jesus recognizes and maybe endorses the rabbinic Bible, which excluded the Deuterocannon. The identification of Zachariah is not at all certain because he was stoned in the temple area. In Matthew, Jesus identifies him as the son of Barakiah. So that's kind of odd to say you're complicit in a murder way back in 2 Chronicles.
