Vicki Zwehr: I think what really is striking and this reflects some of the discussion from Jonathan earlier about mutual support was this sense of community support across different waves of Syrian refugees. She says it highlights the way in which more conventional understanding of home just as a fixed place really limits our understanding. Next Wednesday I'll be considering the inner workings of elite universities and the experiences of working class academics.
