Did Neolithic People Measure Time?
Emily buck from instagram has asked how neolithic people measured time before the invention of hours and clocks. Heather says it was probably by observation. They would have been much more attuned in to the hours of daylight and darkness than we are sitting in our houses with electric lights and everything, obviously. So they may have had the early equivalent of sundials. But i think an awful lot of it was probably innate.
