Is There a Cost in Communication?

I find it extremely disappointing that a cost is not been acknowledged yet as a communication analytic. Even though cost is constitutive of and constituted by everyday communicative practices. I'm going to highlight three or four important points of why it's particularly crucial at this point in time.
