A New Lead in the New York Epidemic
Gatanduga's address book provided the names of 82 different men he had had sex with in different locations. It was an incredibly useful lead for the researchers trying to follow the spread of the new epidemic. They drew a map to work out where it was being reported. Some people who saw the chart read the capital o as a ro, which turned out to be misleading for some people because they thought that zero meant this is ground zero.
