i feel like electron has gotten such a bad rap in part because there are a lot of very big aps that people have no choice but to use. i think the issues there are different. I mean, on catalist, macatalist has come an awful long way. And if a developer wants to do a macap that someone can't tell is a cattle stap, it is possible,. except to someone who really knows the underline frameworks well. There's this balance about where is the ap best used, what platform, how people are going to use it and rely on it.
