Memphis and the Scorpion Group

In Memphis, they have a lot of the same rules that major cities have, which is the duty to intervene. That means when things have gotten out of control with an officer or more than one officer, somebody behind them needs to step in and say, okay, okay,Okay, that's enough. The scorpion group is 50 officers that had good records as street officers who made gun arrests and were aggressive out in the field. It was put together in really the beginning of 2021 because Memphis had 346 murders. Now, New York City that year had 419 murders.
