Vikings reused a building which had been occupied in Pictish times. They used it as weaving shed because the warp was weighted by stones. The sagas tell us two stories of eloping couples, one from Scandinavia and one from Orkney. One version of the Orkney and Gessaga describes Musa as an unhappy place to attack.
