The Rise of the Christology

Eric Liu: I think that at a certain point, what has to happen for a healthy church is for the Christology to be raised. And by their own account, it's not something that's likely to bring about immediate and discernible conversions. He says Bonhoeffer didn't say that as someone who was at all shy about traditional Christian teaching. Liu: We have to find a way to preach the gospel in so that it touches people at their point of strength and confidence, not only at their points of weakness and desolation.
