The Job Market in Academics Is Not Massively Healthy
Am med says there are perverse incentives where you look more protigious when you have students. Most piaitans want jobs in academia, and the job market is not massively healthy. But its not obvious to me that there's enough jobs for all these students. We shouldn't just take on as many p students as we possibly can,. he adds.
