James Stockdale was a vice Admiral in the US Navy. He spent seven years in what they called ironically the annoying Hilton, which was this prison where prisoners or words were tortured and interrogated,. Now, it turns out that Stockdale, so he had a very horrible experience, seven years of his life. Before enlisting in the Navy, actually had studied stories. In fact, he got a master in political science; one of the courses that he had to take was philosophy.
