Shah: Would I be safe here, Shah, just saying that you would maybe have a more materialist understanding of the universe? Picard: If my mind produces thoughts that has in it compassion or feeling for existence of a God, it's a thought. So is that quote unquote materialism? Picard: You know, essentially that would have to be disproven. The Christian worldview depends upon things like historical evidence for the resurrection and stuff like that. And so what would it take to change your beliefs from where they are right now if anything? "I can tell you, voice tonight gives me their lottery numbers for next week"
