Ephesians 5:31 says, therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife. And then it goes on to say this mystery is profound. So I'm saying that are you refers to Christ in the church. It actually references Christ and the church is like the mystery of a man and a woman coming together as one. This is an actual marriage between a man and another person. Sex can be pure even though we've sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
