Is Lithium Overdose a Thing?

Sindrum of irreversible lithium affectuated neurotoxis is real. It's unclear what causes it, but may relate to some sort of adaptation brain or osmotic shifts and possibly hypothermia. The overall prognosis for these patients is far as survival,. so they almost never die. But i am worried about causing this.
