You're going to be able to compare like a contact verification code in person on FaceTime or through another secure call is what they say. So so there will be a comparison system. Currently as it stands, it's end to end encrypted, but you get the other persons like their public key from Apple Server. And Apple Server could decide to send you a key that they have access to if they wanted to,. which could compromise all of your future messages.
