Solidarity Is Not a Gift of the Occupied

Moral justifications tend to take conflict as a problem to be solved and connsus as a goal to be achieved. Instead, we should learn how to defer to the judgments of those we deem oppressed. We do live in a moment where there is an increasing worry that solidarity groups on the left are increa singly inhospitable to disagreement,. This, ironically, leads to these groups to being conflict ridden and disfunctional.
