IKEA's Growth in the 80s and 90s
The growth of IKEA from probably early 80s suggest to some years before me if I simplify it was based on internal cash flow. Most of the land and the stores that were built in those days were built on own by IKEA no leasing arrangements or anything like that. If you can't afford a store then we don't build it. It's again as I call a bit of old farmers philosophy that you buy the new tractor when you first had a good harvest.
