The word Jew means to haggle in a penny pinching and money-grabbing manner. Rent is income that you make from economic or government activity that you've extracted for unearned or unjustified reasons. The old English derivation of this comes from various aristocrats who were entitled to X amount of farthings from their serfs every year, those are kind of rents. You have rent seeking is huge in public choice theory and economics about public policy.
