The Shooting of a Campfire

In the late spring of 2017, I embarked on my long anticipated camping trip out west. The trip was almost two years in the planning stage and would be my first chance to camp with firearms. It's a decision I still regret and thank myself to this day. A blood curdling scream echoed through the night. Next to hearing a rabbit being killed by a predator it was the worst sound I'd ever heard.
