From 19 70 to 19 80, roughly, porn was this private affair. There weren't born theatres per sey and there weren't porn movies. They were stag films with a bunch of like, episodic, kind of cometic sec that frat houses, private mail clubs would rent these reels and then sort of like watch them together in a private setting.
