The Man Who Came With the Light and Said Things in My Mind
We ran for so long that when I finally fell down, I could hear the waves. We wound up close to the pump house where we wanted to go all along. When I opened up again, my hands were yellow. There was a glow nearby. And it was washing over the cement. The man who came with the light and said things in my mind had some people with him. Three of them, two kids and someone more like my age. I said back to the man, we won't tell anyone. We haven't found any secrets, please.
