Is Evolution Still Going On?

We understand that there is something different about our brain that enables us to imagine all these strange things that chimpanzees can't imagine but how did our brains develop this ability? Lots of scientists are researching this but for all we know it was just an accident because for millions of years actually humans lived on the planet without being particularly important. There have been humans on the planet for something like two and a half million years but only in the last 50,000 years or so did we become the rulers of planet Earth. If as Yuval says we have this incredible superpower this storytelling ability then surely we can make any change we want the world by just telling a story. Who knows where we might go next?
