The Limits of Extreme Tourism
Of course, there should have been a rescue attempt. It's the laws of the sea that if you're in trouble, you go to the aid of your fellow human being. I completely get the desire to test yourself against the elements. There's that, but also the feeling of pain and understanding where your limits can be. Some of the endurance events that I've done in the last few years are pretty humbling. So it's almost that it makes you love normality again, is it?
