Buying a Store Brand or Generic Is a Bad Idea
Grocery store products that are store brand or generic usually are the lowest prices. People have been voting with their wallets, and they've been buying the store brands at a much higher rate than in the past. So obviously, if you pick up an opportunity to get a better deal on the brand name than the store brand, you do it.
