The Importance of Owning Your Heart

As a battalion commander, what would you take away from General Abazade and Colonel Petraeus? The first was understanding who did you need to own their heart. You stand up to the brigade commander when somebody's ragging on your guys. So I think I learned that when you can do that, then you can do anything.
