How Fish Can Melt Into a Liquid or a Go
The snail fish is a genus known as the lyparidy. They often dwell in very deep, very cold waters, especially in ocean trenches. When they are no longer confined by the hydrostatic pressure of the deep water and the extremely low temperatures of this deep ocean trench, they essentially just melt when they get to the surface.
