The Black Swan Effect

People are now trying to predict every black swan event they can, which, of course, means that they 're not black swans. I personally wish we would train ourselves to be better probablistic thinkers and focus on the things that are less dramatic but have higher probability. And that, i think, is the way to make gains in society.
