Is Rapamycin Stable in Food?

In the early 2000s, Rapamycin was nominated for lifespan testing in mice. But it wasn't stable at gastric pH so they had to change its bioavailability. They found that starting with Rapamycin treatment at 20 months of age extended a mouse's life by an average of 13 years. The results could have significant impact on neuroscience because you might be able to intervene late in aging process and save lives.
