The Effect of Alcohol on My Emotions
I was 21 when I got sober. I'm 48 now. And I didn't have my last drink until I'd been going to AA for six months. My date of sobriative is the 24th of July 1993, to save anyone doing an ANATS. The effect of alcohol on me emotionally doesn't explain that. So this notion of a physical craving for me is simply, I'm constitutionally built to drink until all of the alcohol has gone. If I were to drink again, my body would do what it's always done, which is to drink until there's nothing left.
