The New IAM Plant Is FDA Approved in the US
The company makes a biologic contact lens that is implanted into the eye and it helps correct the vision or basically brings someone to normal vision who has myopia. They started in China because there is a growing population of myopia there, largely attributed to increased screen usage. The technology unique versus LASIK is that it's fully reversible. If for any reason the patient doesn't want it anymore, it can be removed and their eye goes completely back to normal.
