There was a time everybody remembers when Trump ran and there was the recording of him making sexually bragging about sexual assault and so forth. It's like that's part of where this feels like a disconnect to me is it's like oh we're still in the new look how icky he is as a misogynist guy but this just feels like something different. I feel like Trump after January 6 is a different figure in many ways than Trump before January 6 despite everything that came before that. The hyper masculine male politician in the United States sex scandals actually usually help them because they look like real men who will do what it takes and take what they want.
