The Role of Trials in Light of All of This
Trial is God's way of helping us to see the things that we're leaning on that aren't worthy of our trust. Trials are intended to grow our character, and hope will not put us to shame in relation to God. When somebody did something to me and I got really frustrated about it, I don't have to go live in a pity party and thinking about how awful I am. If I know what the Bible says about me, I already know that. And so when I see that coming out, it's a reminder. We've got to learn to deal with it rather than run from it.
