The Black Workers Association: A Revolutionary Union Movement

The first union to be organized in Amazon was spearheaded by a black worker, Chris Smalls. Black corkuses within unions are able to take up the mantle of struggles that unions have turned a blind eye to and push for their specific interests. One example of that type of organization can be found in the League of Revolutionary Black Workers which organized black auto workers during the late 1960s.
